Kunzite Rings: The Evening Stone

The joyful and pure energy of kunzite is simply stunning. While the most common color for natural kunzite is pink, it can also be found in shades of colorless, light lilac, yellow, or green occasionally. Kunzite has become increasingly popular, particularly in high-end jewelry, due to its large size and natural clarity, even though cutting it can be challenging due to its perfect cleavage. In 1902, the mineralogist and jeweler George Frederick Kunz discovered and cataloged this precious stone, formerly Spodumene, before being named Kunzite. Kunzite has been mined worldwide, including in the USA, Afghanistan, Madagascar, and Brazil, and its exceptional reputation has made it increasingly popular.
