Speech and Language Milestones – 1 to 2 years
A developing infant is a constant visual feast. Children used to occasionally surprise you with their tiny brilliant thoughts and fascinating, wordy gems when they were younger. Their awareness of the environment around them will catch your attention. Sometimes, their mismatched words combined with their newly created lexicon would have us in stitches. These language and speech milestones, however, differ from child to child. Each child grows at a different rate.
