Malayalam Film Actor Meghanadhan Dies At 60

Malayalam Film Actor Meghanadhan dies due to respiratory illness at the age of 60. He was undergoing treatment for a lung-related ailment at a private hospital in Kozhikode, died at 2 am on Thursday. Son of the iconic actor Balan K Nair and Sarada Nair, the actor is survived by his wife Susmitha, and daughter, Parvathi.

The veteran actor Meghanadhan worked in his last film Kooman released in 2022. He was known for his acting skills and impressive performances. He began his career in the Malayalam film industry in the 1980s as a spot boy in the film 'Astram' directed by PN Menon.

Some of his notable films include Panchagni, Chamayam, Rajdhani, Bhumi Geetam, Scepter, Malappuram Haji Mahanaya Joji, Praikkara Papan, Udyanapalakan, Ee Puzha Kaandam, Ullasapungattu, Rashtram, Kudamatam, Vasanthi and Lakshmi and I, Vastavam and Action Hero Biju.

Soon after the confirmation of his death came, several actors expressed condolences. His funeral will be held at Shoranur on Thursday.
