Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)

Magnetic Resonance Imaging (Mri)

Submitted by • May 15, 2013

An MRI machine has a tube-like shape which is aligned with magnetic coils on its walls. It has a special table where a patient is laid and it slides inside the horizontal tube called the magnetic bore. The body part of the patient to be scanned should be exactly at the isocenter (center of the magnetic field) then the scan is initiated.
